About Josh
Josh is the Director of the K12 Jobs Blast. He has served in public schools, public charter schools, and training and laboratory schools as a Chief Academic & Operations Officer, a Chief Strategy & Operations Officer, a Chief of Staff, a Managing Director of Academics, a Teacher Development Coach, a Program Director, and (of course) as a teacher. He brings expertise in academics, data systems development and analysis, operations, and talent management to the table as a thought partner and strategist.
In 2022, seeing a need to better connect talented K12 individuals with opportunities that would keep them in the field, Josh launched Josh’s K12 Jobs Blast. The jobs blast now serves over 10,000+ subscribers and indexes 140+ job sites weekly.
The mission of the job’s blast is to provide high-quality educational leadership opportunities for talented professionals to find their next, right job.
The son of two proud public school teachers, each with 40+ years of service in the classroom, Josh is currently pursuing his doctorate in education at the University of Memphis. His research focuses on social support systems for autistic adolescents, with the degree expected to be conferred in the spring of 2026. Josh holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the Broad Center (now the Broad Center at Yale School of Management) and two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida in public relations and political science. Josh is a native of Panama City, Florida and is a proud alumnus of Teach For America (Mississippi Delta, 2007).
